It is officially 2016! I must say I am very excited to see what this year has in store for me. Personally, I am claiming 2016 as my year to prosper spiritually, mentally and physically. Anyways, I wanted to share with you all my New Years plans and outfit.

Last night, I brought in the New Year with my best friends. We have been getting together for a New Years sleepover/celebration at someone's house for almost 5 years now. It's our little special tradition. This year was especially fun because we haven't seen each other in awhile since we all were in college. It was a blessing to be around individuals who truly been with me through it all.

As for my outfit, I kept it pretty casual since I didn't actually go out anywhere. Usually New Year's is the time for sequins, sparkles, and glitter but I had to take a pass on that this year. Instead, I wore my black moto jacket which I just got for Christmas. Honestly, I can already tell this will be my go to jacket for the rest of the season. I paired it with a pinkish/coral cami underneath. I just wore high waisted jeans to make my figure look more flattering. I wanted to amp up the dressy feel so I added my beloved black booties. Finally, topped it off with a dark purple lip and my outfit was complete.
