HUHC168: OOTW & RECAP

10:21:00 PM

Hello lovelies! I feel like I'm always going ghost on you all. It's just a bit of a challenge keeping up with my posts and my school work. Nevertheless, I am back with a new post. SO, this past week was Homecoming week for the illustrious Hampton University. This is a time where everyone puts together their best outfits, take tons of pictures and just turns up. This year was no different. So I'm going to let you all in on how I spent my 168 hours.

Sunday was the bonfire, which kicked off the entire week. It's basically a huge party in the parking lot. They step up a stage & had a DJ. The night was filled with music & fun. I kept it super simple by wearing a black crop top, a leather jacket, high waisted & my booties. I wasn't able to get any actual outfit pictures, but I included some pictures that I did take.

Monday was Hampton Idol. However, I wasn't able to attend. Nevertheless, I still tried to slightly "pop out" for the day. I wore a black halter bodysuit with high waisted jeans. I wore my chunky black booties. I topped it off with my green bomber jacket.

Wednesday was the 2016- 2017 Coronation. This is where all the Miss & Mister's of each organization on campus for the 2016-2017 school year were presented. I wore a light blue wrap crop top, high waisted jeans and my brown chunky heels. The heels were my favorite part of the outfit because of the lace up and tassel detailing. I accented with all gold jewelry.

Thursday was the fashion show and the after party. This was the event that everyone wanted to attend. I only went to the after party which was held in the Student Center Atrium. Everyone popped out for this event. My statement piece was my velvet bodysuit. I just loved the texture and style of this piece. I paired it with a leather mini skirt and my over the knee boots. For jewelry, I wore a black choker and layered it with a silver necklace. Did I mention it was also my girl Sie's birthday? So it was definitely a celebration.

Friday was the Homecoming Bazaar. This a huge day party in the Student Center from 10 am to 4 pm. It was filled with music, alumni and tons of food. There were so many vendors outside of the building selling food, shirts, jewelry and so much more. This is definitely a Hampton Holiday that everyone looks forward to. I kept it simple with my outfit because I wanted to be comfortable all day. I wore a wrap front bodysuit with a green midi skirt. Once again, I wore my black booties. They are literally so comfortable, while also being super cute. I accented with my gold sunglasses and gold jewelry.

Last but not least is Saturday. This was game day. We played Morgan State, which we defeated with a score of 21 - 12. Go Pirates! The real fun was Saturday night. There was plenty of parties happening, but I decided to go to Noir. It was an all black party. I must say this was the best part of my homecoming week. It was so good that I only have one photo to show for it.
